Precision Cockpit Instruments for Wear OS.
ATA7 Labs crafts high-contrast, aviation-engineered watch faces built natively on Google's declarative Watch Face Format for modern Wear OS smartwatches.
Turbofan
A high-bypass turbofan viewed from the intake nacelle, paired with primary flight display (PFD) scrolling tapes and an interstage turbine temperature (ITT) dial. The fan rotor speed dynamically reflects your biometric thrust setting:
- Interactive Spool-UpTap the spinner hub or full fan for a 4.6-second motion-blurred spool-up run. Try it on the face.
- Flight Display TapesScrolling vertical scales for live Heart Rate (HR) and daily Step Count (STEPS).
- ITT Weather DialOutside temperature gauge (-20°C to 45°C scale with caution arc and redline).
-
Cockpit Customization
6 avionics accent colors (Amber, Cyan, Lime, Ice Blue, Magenta, Silver) and configurable 7-segment clock tint.
Privacy Policy — Turbofan Watch Face
1. Overview & Zero Data Collection
Turbofan is a declarative Wear OS watch face built using the Google Watch Face Format (android:hasCode="false"). The application package contains no executable code, requests no internet or network access, and does not collect, store, log, or transmit any personal, health, or device data to ATA7 Labs or any third party.
2. Device & Sensor Data Accessed On-Device
To render real-time cockpit gauges on your watch screen, the built-in Wear OS system watch face renderer reads the following data streams strictly locally on your device:
-
Heart Rate (
android.permission.BODY_SENSORS,android.permission.health.READ_HEART_RATE): Used solely in real time to position the scrolling HR tape, display your current beats per minute (BPM), and select the visual fan rotation speed (IDLE, CRUISE, or TAKEOFF). Heart rate readings exist only transiently in display memory and are never recorded, stored, or shared externally. -
Physical Activity / Step Count (
android.permission.ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION): Used solely in real time to position the scrolling STEPS tape and display your daily step total on the watch face. Step data is never stored externally or transmitted off the watch. - Battery Level & Weather Data: Provided natively by the Wear OS system runtime to render the nacelle fuel gauge arc (battery percentage) and the ITT dial (outside temperature). This information is displayed locally and is never transmitted or shared.
3. Third-Party SDKs, Analytics & Advertising
Turbofan contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics trackers, no crash-reporting libraries, and no advertising components.
4. Data Retention, User Controls & Deletion
Because ATA7 Labs never collects, receives, or stores any user data on external servers, we hold no personal or health records to retain or delete. You retain complete control on your smartwatch at all times:
- You can grant or revoke sensor permissions at any time on your watch via Settings → Apps → Turbofan → Permissions. If permissions are revoked, the watch face gracefully falls back to displaying
--and IDLE fan rotation. - Uninstalling the watch face removes all application resources from your watch immediately.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page (https://ata7labs.com/#privacy) with an updated effective date.
